I defined the end-to-end AI generation journey, mapped the wizard flow, explored recommendation patterns, and aligned the experience across product, design, and engineering.

Creating business processes can feel technical and time-consuming, especially for users who understand the business need but do not know the exact automation structure.
The challenge was to make process creation feel guided, smart, and low-friction while keeping users in control of the AI output. The experience could not feel like a magic box.
It needed to be transparent, reviewable, and editable.
The experience was designed for business users, process owners, and low-code builders who need to create workflows without deep technical setup.
I led the product design direction for the AI-assisted generation flow. My focus was making AI feel useful, understandable, and controllable.I mapped the full journey from discovery in the SAP Build lobby to prompt entry, recommendation review, process generation, and refinement.
I also worked with product and engineering partners to define the interaction model and user expectations around AI output.
I broke the flow into five simple stages: launch wizard, describe the process, review AI recommendations, generate the workflow, and refine the final process.
Several UX decisions shaped the concept:
-Start from the lobby so users could discover AI generation naturally.
-Use a step-by-step wizard to reduce setup anxiety.
-Show AI recommendations before generation so users stayed in control.
-Provide loading and generation states to make the AI process understandable.
-Allow users to review the generated process before moving forward.
The solution gave users a guided way to move from intent to structured workflow. Instead of asking users to know every process step up front, the wizard helped them describe the business goal and review what the AI suggested before anything became final.
This made AI feel like a collaborator in the setup process rather than an opaque automation layer.
The concept helped reduce blank-canvas friction, gave users more confidence through recommendation review, and created a scalable pattern for future AI-powered creation flows in SAP Build.
